He'll sleep anywhere

As I think I've mentioned before, Benson will/can fall asleep just about anywhere. This morning he fell asleep on the kitchen floor. He'd only been on the floor for as long as it took me to get my shoes on and make sure Ally had hers on the right feet. I went to pick him up and he was snoring.
Such a sweet little guy.
The hat makes his head look big. Really though he has a small head.

Our fun weekend

Friday we had a great day just getting things done around the house. Matt and I went out to dinner and left left the kids with my mom. Saturday Matt and a few guys from church hauled some (haha 2 truck loads) branches out of our neighbors yard. That evening Ben and I went to a broadcast a church, just for women. We had a great time and Ben took a fabulous nap. While Ben and I were gone, Matt had a few friends and their kids over to cook hot dogs and smores on the fire. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of that, so here are random pictures and then pictures from yesterday before we left for church.
Ally was showing Ben her dance moves and he was watching with great interest.

Ally was waking the boys up from their nap, so they could get ready for church.

This morning the kids and I had errands to run and after we were done we went to the park and fed the ducks. Ally has been wanting to do this for a while and every time we drive by the ducks are no where to be found. Luckily we found them this morning. She was thrilled and had a blast.
Benson is such a mover. He loves moving himself around a room and will gladly do so if there is something to entice him to get there. He is really thining out, although the above pictures don't show it too well. He loves whole wheat cereal, graham crackers, ritz crackers, green beans, peas, and bananas. Oh and I can't forget the apple juice, he loves it as much as Ally does.

Little Ballerina

Ally started a dance class and loves it. We just need to work on listening to the teacher. I'm just hoping that she was just so excited about being in dance class and with a bunch of other girls that she couldn't contain herself.
Too cute! And way to excited!

A fun filled weekend

We had a great weekend. We drove up to Matt's parents house Thursday night. Friday we had fun going on a bike ride, playing at a park, taking naps, shopping, eating dinner at the pier on the lake and just being together.
Eating a healthy dinner of Subway.
Yum!
Ben got to watch us eat, sorry dude.
Saturday the kids fell asleep in Ally's bed and I thought it was just too cute.
We went fishing with Grandma and Grandpa.
Hanging out on the pier, waiting for a bite.
Still waiting, and grandpa casting.
and more waiting.

Having fun waiting.

Matt finally caught a fish!
Matt caught a blue gill. He was showing Ally the pointy parts.
Ally got to touch the fish.
Then we headed back to Grandpa and Grandma's and Ben and Ally played Barbies.
I love his expression of "are you seriously taking my picture mom?"
Ally has 2 barbies and most of the time, she forgets about them. But when she goes to Grandmas house she knows she gets to play with a bunch of barbies.

The celebrated Phil's 24th birthday and Jackie's 50th birthday this weekend. We had a great time and great food. Happy birthday Phil and Jackie!

Discovering new things

Last night while eating dinner, Ben rolled himself under the quilt rack and had a great time playing with the blankets. No need to worry, we were keeping a close eye on him just in case he pulled a blanket down.
Funny boy
We tried a little photo shoot in the grass. He didn't like it.
So we went back on the blanket.

All clean

OH how we love this little guy. He is almost always happy and ready to give you a big smile.
He spends LOTS of time studying Ally. He adores her and loves watching her play.

The dramatic dancer has a bit of rock n' roll in her.
