Here are pictures

I know it has taken me quite a while to update. I've been busy with things I'm not normally busy with, but will be from now on.

Anyways..enjoying the fall weather and the leaves.

Throwing leaves always seems like a good idea until mom realizes they are ALL over in my hair and then has to scrub my head to get them out.

Obviously he was excited...no? Yeah, he really wasn't too impressed. So we got a few pictures and got him back on his blanket.

This day he decided that AM naps are for the birds and PM naps are for the birds as well. So to let Ally nap in peace, I took him down to the basement to play and he put himself to sleep.

He is SO mobil now that we can't leave things unattended on the floor. Ally can no longer color on the floor while watching tv and I can't leave my to-do list on the floor either. Look closely and you'll see pen marks on his face.

Over the last month now the kids have had bronchitis and croup (don't worry we've kept them home when they've been contagious). I got a new calling at church and we've been busy doing things around the house. Hopefully tomorrow I'll find time to update.

Fun Fun

Ally kept herself busy for about an hour the other day by making things with her books and lining them up in a line after she read each one.

Tricked you, here's the cute face!

Benson has been pulling this super cute face lately. He wrinkles up his nose, puts his bottom lip in and puts his head up and giggles.

Ben took his first steps..

towards crawling! He's been working on it for quite some time. He's been getting around everywhere on his belly for the last month or more. He finally pushed himself all the way up last night.

This morning he was showing off his strength and went for the push-up, which he proceeded to hold for at least 20 seconds.
The boy is only weighing in at 15 1/2 lbs. He is keeping up with Ally's weight gain. He is just so skinny. He was mad at me in this picture because he really wanted to eat and I wanted to take pictures. Ben has his 6 month appt in a few weeks and we'll find out what he is weighing in at then.

Ben LOVES big people food

Last night he tried corn on the cob and LOVED it.

We'll see how well his body handles corn!

Today while eating lunch, he was a man of many faces. Just like Cosette.

Childrens Museum

Wednesday we spent a little bit of the afternoon at the childrens museum.

Ally had fun and Ben had fun taging along.

Brown County

What did you do on Columbus Day?

We celebrated the day by going down to Brown County.

We had never been there and will definitely be going back.

We had a great time and the colors of fall were amazing.

Ben and I climbed 3/4 of the way up and Ally and Matt climbed all the way up.

They have playgrounds all over the park. Along with picnic tables everywhere which we thought was quite nice.
