McCloud Nature Park with our besties

Our friends came to visit and we had a grand time.  We went to a nature park and walked through a prairie maze and then threw rocks off a bridge.

 She thinks its funny to run away from mommy.

 It's a good thing she's cute when she does it.

So we were all there, somehow though Ally didn't make it into any pictures.  She was digging for rocks most of the time and then went and did the maze a 2nd time with Lincoln and his dad.

More cheese

She loves to smile and put on a show.  She'll come up to me and start jabbering and then immediately start belling laughing.  It's the funniest thing ever, so I then start laughing. LOVE IT!

Fun day

Josey loves helping with the dishes.  Especially when mommy walks away and leaves the door down. 

 Friday was pirate day in the 1st grade.  Ally was so excited.

 We took these cabinets out of the garage and for now they are on the porch.  The kids have been having fun playing in them.

 Ally found a math workbook that I had picked up a while back and she sat down and finished the entire thing.  She loves math.

Ally was SOO excited to have curly hair.

 She looked so cute with ultra curly hair. 

 Lucy was fine with curly hair until Ally left for school, then she hated it.

Rag curls and faces

Ally has been wanting curly hair.  She's kinda jealous of her 3 sisters and their curly hair.  So I cut up a towel and tied them in their hair.  Ally was quite excited.

This was Joseys first time playing playdoh and she didn't care for it.

Crazy Monday

Miss Jo is sick.  Like throwing up sick.  Not fun.  The carseat has now been washed twice today.  I need to shampoo the carpet in the van.  Lots of yuck.

I'd promised the kids we'd go to the zoo (before knowing Jo was sick), so we still went and had a fun time.

Fun filled evening

Last night while Matt was at work, we got a lot accomplished and the kids still had fun.  The little kids played in the basement while Ally and I finished her homework, made cookies, made a friendship bracelet for her and finished a Junie B. Jones book.  I let them eat cookies while they watched a short show, then Matt came home and off to bed they went.
This morning Ally and I read an entire Magic Treehouse book together, it helps that I read fast.  We still managed to get everyone dressed, fed, read scriptures, say prayer, make her lunch and get her to school early.  Some mornings I'm not sure how things go so smoothly when compared with the mornings that are a complete chaotic disaster. 
Oh to brag on Ally- last month she was the top reader for her class by over 200 minutes.  She reads every morning and everyday after school.  She has really taken off with reading and math.  She's been doing her math homework all by herself and goes off and reads books without me asking her too.  I love it!
