I think Matt has gone crazy. He ordered lots of girl scout cookies this year. Last year when I was craving them, he said "2 boxes is enough". That makes me wonder why he has ordered so many of them this year and I am not even in the mood for them. Hopefully by the time the baby comes, we'll still have some and I will want them then.
On to another subject...I love to pack and unpack and move. But, this go around is very different. I have just not been in the mood to do much of anything. I keep hoping there is a moving fairy and that she is going to come over one day and pack all of my things for me. I know that's not going to happen, so I have made myself do a little everyday. There isn't that much left to move over there that isn't furniture of some kind. Pictures are off the walls, most of the dishes are out of the kitchen, dressers have been emptied, closets empty, but somehow there is still a lot of STUFF here. Go figure!
The best news from the last 2 nights...Ally has slept through the night, 2 nights in a row now. I am super excited because I don't have the energy right now to get up and feed her during the night. She has her 9 month check up on Saturday. I am curious to see how much she has grown in the last 3 months. I know for sure she has learned all kinds of new tricks and has gotten really strong. She has also become very independent and wants to try everything (except walking) on her own. She will walk with us as long as we are holding her hand.
I can't wait for spring break, she is going to love hiking in the Smokies. Hopefully the weather is nice for us. A week after we get home our friends, the Nehrings should be back in Indiana. Not much longer till they are here.

Okay, so I am super excited. I never have to come home from the grocery store, to an apartment again. For those of you that have not had the experience of carrying an 8 month old and your groceries up 2 flights of stairs, it is not a great one. By the time you get up the stairs, you're exhausted. I get in the apartment and I have to sit down to recuperate from the hike up. So YEAH for moving out of an apartment.

Our good friend Julie came to visit us. We had a great time visiting with her. She took lots of pictures of Ally and they turned out really cute. Thanks Julie! Oh and your hair looks good.

Matt had today off, so we did fun things like get our hair cut, take a nap, go to the Childrens Museum, find a home to move to, and play at Grandma Julie's house.

to her since she was so giggly today.

Ally has turned into my big helper. She loves to help me unload and load the dishwasher. As you can tell, yesterday was a diaper only day. I also let her feed herself a jello jiggler. She loved it. She kept moving it around and just watching it. It was hilarious. She took a long bath afterwards, to remove the red from her skin. Ally was so tired after helping me unload the dishwasher, that she had to take a nap!

Matt is feeling better. We went to the doctor today and he said he just needs to make sure he takes it easy and doesn't overdue himself too much. He'll have a chest x-ray in 3 weeks to make sure everything is out of his lungs. He is planning on going back to work on Monday and just working 3 days. As far as school goes, he has decided to drop it down to only his Friday class. He will take the classes he is dropping out of, over the summer.
Ally is off and on with feeling better. She will be fine and then for a day or two she'll have a crazy cough, then be fine for a few days.
I am still dealing with bronchitis as well as being 12 weeks pregnant. So the last few weeks have been a little tough on my body. Things are improving though. I think once Matt gets back to working more, Ally and I will be able to get completely back on our routine of naps and meals. Hopefully things can get back to that soon.
We are getting ready to move to Plainfield in March. As of right now, we aren't sure where we are going to live, but have a few places we are going to look at next week.
We are soooo excited about the Nehring family moving back to Indiana. We can't wait till they get here in a few months.

Okay, so for those of you that may not have heard. Matt is out of the hospital as of yesterday at 4pm. For those of you that did not know he was in the hospital, I do apoligize, I have been a little busy. Matt started feeling sick 5pm on Sunday, I told him he needed to put a smile on his face because the super bowl was about to start. We got home and he had a fever and a nasty cough. Monday he had a fever of 102 and felt horrible, so he called into work and didn't go to school. We were going to take him to Urgent care, but then his fever broke and he started feeling better. I urged him to still go, but he said he was fine. Later that night around 8pm (just as the Urgent care closed) he got really bad, so I called our home teachers from church and they came over and gave him a blessing. Neither one of us got much sleep that night. Tuesday we went to Urgent care and they ran some blood tests and other tests. They gave him a prescription for an antibiotic and we went home. Wednesday morning they called us and asked him to go in on Thursday so they could go over the test results that didn't come back looking great. Matt said, why prolong it, I'll come in today. So we went in, they told us a little and ran a few more tests. They weren't quite sure what was going on in his body. They were thinking, mono, hepatitis A or C, liver failure, enlarged spleen, and other things. So they said we needed to head on over to the ER. So on our way we were to St Vincent. We got in there and after a few hours they admitted him. There he stayed until yesterday. They took LOTS of his blood at LOTS of different times. He doesn't have the best veins for taking blood, so he was in lots of pain with them scouting around in his arm with the needle. They finally came to an idea of what they thought it was yesterday an hour before we left. He has mono, and due to the mono he has pneumonia sp?, he has urinary tract infection thanks to the mono, and his spleen is a little bigger than it should be thanks to the mono. They said that it is very rare for all of this to happen while having mono and him being only 25, but Matt was lucky enough to get all of these. He is improving slowly. We are trying to hydrate him so he doesn't have to return to the hospital. He has now had an entire week off of work and school and is trying to figure out what to do with them both. Does he want to work and take the rest of the semester off or does he want to work and only go to school part time? Who knows, we still have no idea what is going on. Oh yeah, and we are suppose to be moving at the beginning of March. Matt was told he can't lift anything over 20lbs. Oh well, it'll all work out. Have a fantastic day!!!

The Colts won the Super Bowl!!!!!

Yesterday was Matt's day off, so we went bowling. We had a great time bowling. Tashina got her 2 best scores, 147 and 143. She beat Matt both games. Ally had fun getting passed back and forth between our turns.

Matt has been keeping busy with work and going to school. Right now in one of his classes, he and his partner are working on getting their research published. He was nominated for the Top 100 at IUPUI.

Tashina has been busy keeping Ally out of things. Wednesday Ally and Tashina went to the childrens museum with some friends. Ally loves to play in playscapes and meet new friends her size. Ally has gotten better at pulling up to things and walking along them. She loves to eat everything Tashina lets her eat. She tried canteloupe and loved it. A few of her other favorite foods are bananas, apple sauce, pickles, grapes, freeze pops, and raspberry sherbet.

We are going to be moving in about 1-2 months, so we are getting excited about that. Tashina has already started packing our things up.

This last Sunday we went to a friends house and watched the Colts game. It was such a great game. It really had our adrenaline going high. Ally wasn't quite sure what to think about those that where yelling and jumping at the plays that where made. We can't wait for the superbowl. It's about time the Colts made it there.

We had a great Christmas. Ally enjoyed opening presents. Just like all other babies her age, her favorite things were the box her present came in, the wrapping paper, and the bows. Now that the boxes, wrapping paper, and bows are all gone, she has discovered her presents! She has learned how to play by herself and keep herself entertained. I love that I don't have to sit next to her all day now. She has learned how to pull herself up to just about everything. We had to lower her crib yesterday because I went in to check on her during nap time and she was standing up and could have fallen over the side. Ally absolutely loves being able to move around and get into everything we tell her not to. She still LOVES to chew on cords, so that keeps me busy.
We went to St. Louis to see the Arch. Ally absolutely loved being up there. She saw a ferry go by and instantly started to jabber at the ferry. We had to walk over the interstate to get to the arch and Ally was very fascinated by the cars and semis that were passing below us. We went swimming at the hotel and she had so much fun. On our drive home we had Kansas City fans driving to Indy for the Colts game. Some of them were really ready for the game, their cars included.
