September 9

Just for comparison:  big baby vs. big baby
Josey is quickly catching up to Lucy.

 I love Lucy's eyes.
He wanted to show me his ouchie.  Do you see it under/next to his pointer finger?
While waiting for Ally to get home, we played outside and enjoyed the nice weather.

September 8

Snack before bed. Since we eat breakfast at 7am, lunch at 11am and dinner between 4:30-5pm, we have to have a snack at 6:30pm.

September 7

Lucy is starting to get into the whole "dress up" phase.  So fun. She loves headbands, purses, tiaras, shoes, and of course clothes.  Such a fun time with her right now.

I'm starting to think that Ben is just going to be smitten with Josey for life.  He is quite gentle with her and loves to lay next to her and talk to her.  Today while laying next to her and touching her face he said "oh love you baby Jo".  It was so sweet.  Look at the smile on her face.  She is starting to enjoy when Ben comes and lays next to her.  The tiara is Lucy trying to share with Josey.
While taking this picture, you could hear me say "gentle, gentle, be soft, DON'T SIT on her".

September 4- Josey's blessing

Trying to get 3 little kids to look at the camera, proves to be quite hard.  Let alone looking at the camera with a decent look on their face.

August 31

She fell asleep helping Ally with her homework.
 Enjoying a hot day outside.

 Look at those cute buns.

August 30

I tried really hard this particular day to do lots of fun things with the kids.  Guess what?  It's like they all backfired on me.
We went to the orchard- Ben and Lucy kept eating the rotten apples on the ground.  I even handed them good apples as I got them out of the van, hoping that'd deter them from eating the ones on the ground.  We only stayed a few minutes because they kept eating the bad ones.  I got both the girls back in the van and noticed Ben hiding under a tree- he was pooping, so I had to change him before we left.
Insert: Bens story about toe poop.  This should have told me I was in for a poopy night.
A few too many rotten apples and a cider slushy.  After dinner she needed a bath, so I put her in the bathtub, ran downstairs grabbed Ben.  I noticed a smell when I got to the tub.  Lucy had pooped IN. THE. DRAIN.  She CLOGGED the drain.  It was so clogged the plunger wouldn't work on it.  Ben was trying to get in the tub, but was getting mad at me because I wouldn't let him in.  Lucy was trying to get herself to the drain to investigate.  Luckily, I got the clog removed.  YUCK!

After Ben's diaper at the orchard, toe poop and a clogged drain of poop, Josey here decided that filling 5 diapers with poop would be a great end to my day.  Thanks kids for a crazy, hectic, frustrating, stressful, NORMAL day.
My sister sleeps JUST like this.  On her stomach with her butt in the air.  I had to laugh when I saw Josey do this.

August 29

Anytime Lucy notices that the gate to the upstairs is opened, she goes up to her room and comes back down with 1 of her blankets.  Then walks around like this:

August 28

I took Ally and Josey to church while Matt stayed home with Ben and Lucy.  They were dealing with yucky allergies and I didn't want them sharing snot with everyone.

August 27

We got the baby doll box out and Lucy tried on a baby hat.
Ally had to get the dress ups out.
