Matt is now

the newest/youngest High Priest in the Plainfield Ward.

He was called to be 1st counselor in the Bishopric.  If you are interested in what a Mormon Bishop does click on the link in the previous sentence.

The new Bishop is Bishop Simpson.  And the 2nd counselor is Brother Cameron. 

We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for our family during the next few years.

We are aware there are going to be challenge's/trials, but we've made it through tough things before.

After we found out about the calling, Matt called his parents and asked them to come down for church.  We also asked my brothers to come, but they didn't know why they were coming.  Ally had her school carnival Saturday night, so Grandpa and Grandma got to go with us.  The kids had fun and the adults were drained.

Brigham is a very happy baby.

He has really mastered laughing, smiling and giggling.

Oh and he LOVES to talk.  If you are able to give him some time he will talk your ear off.  Sometimes he starts laughing when he's talking.

 My crazy monkeys are excited that they can play outside now.

St. Patricks Day

We made green peanut butter blossoms.

 And spent the afternoon outside.

 Ben LOVES his bike.

 Lucy realized her bum fit just right in the dump truck.

So she sat in it and rode down the driveway several times.

 Our ugly tree is a favorite activity for all the kids.

Ben figured out how to climb into the tree last week.

Ally was sitting in the tree reading a book.

What a fabulous afternoon

It was 61 this afternoon and we took FULL advantage of it.

I picked up the balls from the sweet gum tree.  I still have a bunch left to pick up, but the weather is nice so I don't mind.  Ben had fun climbing our tree.

 Brigham loved being outside, as long as he wasn't facing the wind.

 My kids are attracted to mud.  It just about makes me crazy. I just continue to remind myself that I will miss these moments, maybe.

 Ben has a bedtime ritual that involves Brigham.  Every night he wants him to lay next to him.  Ben talks to Brigham, reads him a book or lets him watch as he plays a game on the kindle.  Most of the time Brigham enjoys this.  Then I sing "Jesus Said Love Everyone" to Ben.  Then Ben sings it to Brigham.

That's how old I am now.  The time sure is flying by. 

These 2 beautiful girls we realized during church should probably not stay for classes. 

Jo had some goobers in her eyes and Lucy had a runny nose.

They were A ok with coming home and cuddling with mommy.  I am realizing more everyday that I need to take advantage of these times with the kids.  They won't want to cuddle up on the couch with me forever.
