The Horn Family

This is my kind of parenting...

I normally feed Lucy in my glider. While doing so, the kids play in the family room and talk to me and find mischief that they normally don't get away with.

He climbed on top of the sit n spin, then to the toy box, then to the arm of the couch and jumped onto the couch cushions.

Here he is in action, but this time he's climbing up the side of the couch.

And yes, I sit in the glider and "watch" as he does this. I figure I need to pick my battles with him. Starting with, when he opens the kitchen drawer with knives in it (we have the safetly latch on it, so he can't open it all the way) and sticks his hand in as far as he can and starts pulling out knives and forks, then I jump in and stop him.

Ben remembered from his birthday, go sit on the blanket and open gifts. So that's just what he did. My grandparents were here and got him a gift, so he had something to open.

His is the pink bag and it had glitter on it that was rough, he had fun touching it.

He was quite enthralled with the bag.

This was Ally's first time having friends over for her birthday. She was quite excited. Being that her friends are 3 and she now 4, I think all 4 of the kids had a meltdown of some sort at least once. I'm hoping they all had a good time. I know Ally had fun.

June 11 & AM of 12

My brother had his Eagle Court of Honor on Friday night. Guess what? I didn't take any pictures. That is until we got home and I got a cute sleeping picture of Lucy.
