February 9

My 2 tired girls.
Miss Josey was awake/asleep crying from 1am-5:30am.  She only wanted to be help upright and wanted me to be standing up.  Yep, I was one tired mommy going on full adrenaline...and caffeine.  Lucy was also up during the night.  She slept in our bed, but was crying off and on.  So I took both the girls..and Ben to the Dr. yesterday.  The girls had appointments and Ben was there because well he can't stay home by himself.  The Dr. went ahead and checked Ben out, just to make sure he was not in need of medicine.  The girls both have AWFUL AWFUL ear infections.  Lucy started telling me during the night that her right ear hurt (at that point I knew I was taking her in).  Josey didn't want to be horizontal (at that point I knew she was going in).  That and they were both running fevers.
It was quite cute at the Dr. office.  As soon as the Dr. came in, Lucy walks up to her, points to her right ear and says "ow ow".
Since Jo had SO much mucus in her system, she threw up the first dose of medicine I gave her yesterday.  She threw up 4 times.  I called the Dr and she's like, well that's what I would expect with all the mucus in her system.  THANKS for telling me that before.  It would have been helpful to know that BEFORE so maybe she wouldn't have thrown up on me, the stairs, my bed, and the floor.
 Feeling SO much better.
By the way, does anyone recognize this shirt that Josey has on?
The chain in the background is a birthday/vacation countdown.
Oh and both girls lost a pound since last week.

February 8

Anyone know what this is?

It is Ben's poptart.  He's decided that when he's done with his food, he'll just put the remains in the refrigerator.  The problem is Lucy always finds them and eats them before he remembers them.

February 4

On Saturday we painted while daddy was at basketball.
Lucy was mid cough in this picture.  Out of the 3 kids she has it the worst, then Josey, and Ben isn't so bad.
I was trying to figure out how she kept getting paint on her belly.
Now I know.

Do you remember like 6 months ago when I was showing you how big Lucy was?
Look at Josey.  We went to Steak N'Shake for dinner and put her in a high chair (I really should have taken a picture of her).  She had her arms on the tray and she just looked HUGE.
She is now 22 lbs.  Lucy is 30 lbs.  Ben is like 32/33 lbs.
I'd say the camera adds 10 lbs, but really she is this big.  She is such a happy, content little girl.  She just crawls around most of the day entertaining herself, until she gets hungry, then she comes to find me.

February 3

I found out today that my 3 little buddies all have bronchitis.
LOTS. OF. FUN.
They sound awful.
Poor Josey just looks at you like, help me please.

February 2

She fell asleep while we ate dinner.

February 1

Day 2 with the bunny hat.  Lucy gets excited when she can easily walk in other peoples shoes.  Her cute squirrel shirt had 1 last fun day with her before it got put in the "too small for Lucy" bucket.

Josey likes to crawl into tight/small spaces and get stuck.

January 31

Ben created a "big snake" as he named it.  They've emptied my food shelves several times the last few days.  I'm seriously considering big boxes and canned/boxed food items for Christmas presents!

Lu found this hat the other day and wore it the entire day (nap included).

 Being silly with her hat.

January 30

Since we were having nice days (meaning above 50 and below 65) I decided we needed to get outside.  I figure the kids can get sick inside with all of the germs floating around or they can go outside and get sick with a bit of cool air.  The later being the better choice.  They had lots of fun running and running and sliding and swinging and running and digging.

I moved Jo's jumper to the porch, so she could be entertained, without getting all dirty.

 My 3 little buddies swinging.

Look at his big blue eyes.

 Best squishy face. EVER.

We had to depant/deshoe everyone before entering the house.  They were super dirty, but lots of fun was had, so its okay.

January 29

Lucy was the only one not sick so she went to church with daddy.
She is SOO into pink right now.  Everything pink.  If pjs aren't pink, a meltdown ensues.
Pink from hair thing, shirt, sweater, boots, and princess crown tights.  Oh she'll wear something non pink if it has princesses on it.  I think I found my girly girl.  Ally and Sette weren't like this.  Ally still lets me pick out her clothes (thank goodness).  Lucy though, if its not pink or princesses, forget it.

 Hangin out with mommy.
Such a happy baby.

She moves and she moves fast.  She crawls about half the time on her belly and the other half on her hands and knees.  So she is right on developmentally.
