 He has learned how to open the refrigerator and has discovered how to also open yogurt.

So he helps himself to a yogurt more than I'd like.

 Pretty girl is loving the extra attention with the big kids at school.

Thus is life

 we had to leave Grandma and Grandpa's early because Ben had a bad case of croup.  It ended with us in the ER.  He is better now.  Today Ally came home sick.  She has strep.  Bummer.  After some antibiotics she got better.

 We played outside a bunch.  The kids had a blast.

 This little girl would not take a nap all summer when we were going and going.

But school started and she went back to naps, just not always in her bed.

 As I was helping the kids pick out their outfits for picture day, Ben told me he didn't care and just pick something.  So I grabbed his blue and yellow button up and thought this will look nice on him and I'm pretty sure he wore his orange and blue one last year.  UMMM wrong!  Same shirt 2 years in a row!  Ooops.

 The kids are really growing to enjoy hiking and we are really excited.

My big kindergartner

 I am so proud of this girl.  She is my homebody.  She's gone out of her comfort zone and made new friends.  Funny thing is she's found that her 2 good friends live on the other side of the street (they recently moved to the neighborhood). She has really adjusted to school and enjoys going everyday.

Happy birthday beautiful baby!

Today Cosette would be 8 years old. We miss her so much.  Often I find myself trying to picture what our adventures would be like if she was still here.  

We are grateful for the 15 months that we had her in our lives and got to know her beautiful spirit.  We know that we will be with her again and that day will be a very sweet one.  We know she is in Heaven and watching over us.  We know that because we were sealed as a family in the temple, that we can be with her again. There is assuredly life after death.  We are grateful for the new temple in Indiana.  We miss you and love you so very much sweet Cosette.

Indianapolis, IN Temple Cultural Celebration

 We all attended the cultural celebration tonight.  It was at the Soccer Stadium on the IUPUI campus. 

All of the youth ages 12-18 worked on routines for several months.  They performed for President Eyring, 1st Counselor in the Presidency of the church.  They did a great job.

The kids enjoyed all the performances.  Lucy loved the dance numbers.

 The boys loved watching the race cars on the track.

There were youth in racing outfits that were pretending to be cars and there were 2 crashes.  They were pretending to be the Indy cars. The kids dressed in black and white to represent the checkered flag.

 We had a great time together.  I sure do love this silly bunch.
