Spring Break

As you may have noticed, I haven't updated the blog in a while. We went to the Smoky Mountains last week with Matt's parents. Kim (Matt's sister) joined us Monday and Tuesday. The cabin we stayed in didn't have internet, so when we needed to check our email we went to the library. I decided that since it was vacation, I'd take one from blogging.
My mom came and picked up my house while we were gone, so it WAS nice to come in and see that it WAS clean before we dumped everything on the floor. Now I have laundry piling up, toys everywhere, clutter here and there, but my dishes are done. Oh yeah, the girls were sick all of vacation. They were so good even though they were sick. I took them into the pediatrician this morning and they both have croup and Cosette has some sort of allergy on top of that. So they are now on antibiotics and hopefully things will get better for their little bodies. Cosette is now weighing in at 19 lbs and Ally is weighing in at 28 lbs.
Spring break was great. We had such a good time and the weather was nice. We did some hiking with the stroller and with the hiking backpacks. The girls were great for the hikes and we only lost 1 pacifier the whole trip. Ally threw hers off the side path and it was SO steep that I was not going to let Matt retrieve it. We ate lots of yummy food, took in the wonderful mountain air, saw an owl, saw other wildlife, and exhausted ourselves everyday.
We got home Saturday night and I started in on my 7 loads of laundry. Sunday, the girls and I stayed home from church because the 3 of us are sick. I continued my laundry and 2 loads into drying the clothes, the knob on my dryer broke. It is the one that moves from how long it should dry to off. So without that I really couldn't use the dryer. After church Matt came home and adjusted some pliers so I can finish drying the clothes. I ordered a new part today and can't wait to get it. I am going to hopefully get some pictures posted today.
