Day 8- Orlando, Blue Springs State Park

We drove to a State Park on our last full day in Florida. They have manatees that come from the ocean, into the springs to stay warm. They have to be in warm water to survive, so they swim inland to the springs to survive and be safe. April-November you can swim with them in the springs. I think we'll be making a trip back there just so we can swim with them. How awesome would that be.
a turtle
some birds
lots of manatees all next to each other
a turtle and a manatee
2 turtles
more manatees all next to each other
We had GREAT weather this day. The weather was great, up until our drive back to the hotel. It downpoured, but then stopped in time for us to get dinner, and for Matt and his dad to go see Avatar and for the girls and Ben to go to Downtown Disney and do a bit of shopping.
The next morning we got up and started our drive home, it was quite sad thinking about the weather we'd get to endure for the next few months while they get sunny skies and warm air.
We had a fabulous trip and I can't wait to do it again with Luci along for the ride!

It looks like you guys had a blast! I'm glad you were able to get away and enjoy each other. That's so important.

You guys do go to Flordia a lot. Maybe you should invest in a vacation house down there! We have some friends that did and they love it! Every chance they get, any time of the year, they could be relaxing in Flordia! And they do, quite often. Lucky duckies!
