So last week I washed a load of laundry, only to find out after it went through the dryer that there was a purple crayon in there. Not only did the crayon melt all over the clothes, but now my dryer drum is a pretty purple color. The purple is still in the dryer and all but a few things were saved by oxi clean. I soaked the purple load of laundry for quite a while and ran it through the wash a few times, before getting all the spots out. Luckily everything new and important (Matt's work clothes) were able to be saved. I think there were like 5-8 shirts that just have stubborn spots that refuse to come out.
Today I washed a load of whites, only to go and take them out of the dryer and find that a certain someone had left gum in there dress shirt pocket. Now to figure out what to do with that....I am so sick of finding things like this. At least we have modern day conveniences like oxi clean and spray and wash and that my washer has a soak option on it. For that I am thankful.
