What was the point?

This past Friday we made a last minute trip to Cincinnati, to go to IKEA. Have I mentioned that we LOVE that store? We went to get shelving to go around our TV. Unfortunately our TV is TOO big for all of there shelving things for tvs. I told Matt, we could move that tv to the family room and just buy a smaller one for the basement. He decided to come up something on his own instead. We ended up buying a crib for the nursery (Ben still needs his crib, so we needed another one). We also bought this step stool that is currently on top of our refrigerator. So we bought it, Matt put it together, we put it in the kitchen, and Ben quickly found he can get into everything with the help of the stool. It's too high for him to be climbing on right now, so we had to put it up. So why'd we buy it? I'm not sure now, but I really like it.

If you look at the bottom left, you can kind of see that 0ur trash can is on our oven/counter tops. Ben will drag the trash around the house if we have the trash can on the floor. The girls did the same thing, so it's not just a boy thing.
