July 16-20
Ben was quite bummed that we didn't get to go to the Smokies for Spring Break.
Grandpa and Grandma were excited to take the 2 big kids on a fun trip.
The pictures are really out of order, but you can thumb around and piece their trip together.
They did 2 nights in a tent and 2 nights in a hotel. I was really not sure how to pack the kids since the weather has been totally out of the norm for July.
Their tent all set up.
Their campsite was right next to a river. The kids loved it.
Sidenote: there was a path that led down to the river/creek. I guess the kids ignored that and walked right through a big patch of poison ivy. They didn't have any reaction to it, so they must get that from me because I've never had a problem with it. Matt sees it and breaks out.
They saw 5 bears and one was while they were on a hike.
Grandpa and Grandma made sure they got to do the fun things that Daddy and Aunt Kim didn't get to do. I love the faces Ally is making in all her go-cart pictures.
This was the van before they left.
According to Ben: its not cool to smile for pictures.
Before leaving the driveway Ally was ready to go!
Ben knows he has it all under control.
The kids figured out how to take pictures with Grandpas kindle and took some selfies.
Thanks for a fantabulous trip that they are sure to not forget.
They keep talking about how much fun they had and all the things they got to do.
The go-carts! Camping! Bears! Eating at lots of restaurants!
They loved staying up late and drinking lots of pop!
They loved playing in the water and hanging out the van and spending the whole time with you.
