Eating a popsicle after washing the jeep. You notice she has the red one this time. I ended up with the orange. I now know she likes the red ones better.
Notice she eats her popsicle like she is eating corn on the cob.

Her face was all red from the coldness of the popsicle.
Want a lick???

Her popsicle fell off the stick, so she picked it up off the ground and finished eating it. Yum! Now you want a lick?

Ally loves to eat whatever Matt and I are eating. So I've had to get kind of creative so she can be included in our meals. Once in a while she will eat baby food, but not very often.
Here she is eating pasta noodles and fresh vegetables.

Ally's foot is half the size of mine. Yesterday in church I realized that her church sandals I bought her 3 weeks ago, that were way to big, are just about too small. At the beginning of the spring I had bought her 2 pairs of sandals thinking those would last us half way through the summer. Boy was I wrong, her foot was a size 3 at the beginning of March and now she is almost out of a 4.

Today I gave Ally a popsicle and she LOVED it.
It was windy outside, but not enough to blow Ally's mouth open that wide. She just wanted a mouthful of popsicle.
Here is Ally after she stole my popsicle.
She didn't think that one popsicle was enough.
The stick was very tasty.
Look at my dirty bum. I would like to take a moment to say that spray n'wash has yet to let me down. Ally had dirt/mud, orange and red popsicle, and blue raspberry sno-cone on her outfit and ALL of it came out.

She found it a bit challenging to walk with the hose.
Yes, she did suck on the hose.

This is her favorite pose. She looks through her legs and smiles really big.

Matt had yesterday off so we thought we'd do lots of things outside since the weather was so nice and normally he has to work so he doesn't get to enjoy it.
We started the day off by going to the park. From there we thought we'd go to an Indians game. They were playing at 11am and so we thought it wouldn't be really crowded. As we were walking closer to the ticket window, we could tell it was VERY crowded. We weren't in the mood for the big crowd, so we went and had a picnic in Military Park. It was very relaxing. Ally had a great time. After our picnic we went to the zoo and had a great time. We think Ally enjoyed it. She liked watching everyone around her.
Last night was the first night out of the last 4 that she slept through the night. She was very tired and I was soo thankful for the full nights sleep.
At the Zoo with Daddy...
Petting the goat
If you look closely you can see Ally's pink hat.
This is as close as they could get without paying to feed the giraffes.
Look at those animals

Playing at the park with daddy.
We went before lots of kids came, so we had the park to ourselves. It was lots of fun.

This is what we got for our moms for Mothers Day.
This is the one we made for Matt's mom.
This is the one we made for my mom. My brothers and sisters and I all decorated one of the petals.

Okay so I would like to officially announce that Ally is walking. That is now her prefered way of getting around. I think she finally figured out that walking is easier on her knees than crawling, when we are outside. She really doesn't like it when she forgets and drags her knee across the cement. The last 3 days she has been walking everywhere.

Last night Matt took my brothers camping at McCormicks Creek State Park. They had a good time camping and hiking there. Ally and I were able to have a girls night. She got her toes painted and we ate ice cream.

This is Ally's swimming pool. I thought it was just too cute. We had it turned the wrong way, so they sun was in her eyes when she looked up. When we put her in there she was fine with the cold water, but once she realized the water wasn't getting warm like the bath tub, she got upset.

The frog sprays water out and she is trying to catch it with her hands and drink it. I thought it was a little cold for her swim suit, but I guess I was fine with her in the pool anyway.

Yesterday was such a nice day, so Ally and I took advantage of it and played in the grass. She still loves to pick up sticks and any kind of bug that is too slow to get away from her.

In this picture she is trying to show me a flower she just picked. She got the top part of the flower, no stem.
If Ally wasn't occupied with something in her hands, then she was trying to get her sunglasses off. She knows that when she takes them off her head, they go back on her head. She just hasn't quite figured out how they go back on there.

Random pictures from this past week...
Ally looking cool in her sunglasses from Great Grandma Horn.
I couldn't get her to keep them on unless she was drinking her bottle.

Ally showing off her "Big Sister" t-shirt.

Ally swinging at the farm park.

Ally riding the horse in the horse corral at the park.

Ally riding on the chicken.

Ally swinging outside in our backyard.
And yes, I did not buckle her in.

This past weekend we went to Warsaw. We had a good time relaxing and we got to eat homemade ice cream. Ally really enjoyed the ice cream. Yesterday Ally walked across the living room. It was very exciting. She was naked, so that might have made it a little easier for her to walk. After she made it to the other side of the room, she sat down and I picked her up and she walked half way back to where she started. I was very impressed. Ally was so excited.
I put Ally's little robe on her and it barely fit.

This is Matt writing!!!

I've been tagged by Megan

Here are my 8 Unknown Things about ME in no particular order

Please also note.

After reading my comments it may seem that I was really an awful guy in the past. I'm not really a shallow guy. Though it may sound that way, I was just a single guy looking for my E.C.

1) One of my favorite TV shows is “Peep and the Big Wide World”. I love to watch it with Ally in the mornings on TLC. I’m a fan of the writing and the actors. The narrator is Joan Cusack. I also like the theme song.

2) My right pinkie finger is deformed. Most people don’t notice unless they really pay attention. I dislocated it during a football game. It was my sophomore year during the homecoming game.

3) On my mission in Honduras, I had my toe nail removed. Now, I always seem to have problems with it growing back. It’s pretty gross looking. It scares small children at the beach.

4) One of my biggest pet peeves is bad grammar. I have the hardest time at work (Lenscrafters) helping people with terrible grammar. My coworkers also seem to use double negatives and other obvious mistakes.

5) To reiterate number 4, I once broke up with a girl solely because she added a “k” to words ending in “ing”. For example, “Hey, after work today let’s go runningK!” I’m not very proud of it, really. I realize that I probably have terrible grammar too! It just bothers me to hear someone use grammar that just sounds bad! The weird "ingk" was the just one more reason to find someone else.

6) I put off asking Tashina out for like a month because I thought she was too short. When we had our first date, it turned out to be the worst date I'd ever had. That's another story though!

7) When I was younger I was able to eat an obscene amount of food. On a Boy Scout camp out I once ate 22 pancakes. Also, one night in high school, I was out with friends and I ate 4 Big Macs and 2 milkshakes in one sitting. The good thing is I can’t imagine doing that now.

8) I once had 2 girlfriends at the same time. It was for like 3 days. I was in a transition period. I was breaking up with one and starting with another. It happened when I first moved to Indy. I'm not sure if that really justifies it though?
