Plainfield Reception

So we didn't have a photographer for Friday night and didn't know that until he didn't show up.
So I took what pictures I could.
Tahnee and her favorite teacher.
Sarah and Tahnee (oh and Grayson Sarah's baby).
Tahnee & Ben
Once again the kids had lots of fun dancing. This time I think they had even more fun because they had more kids there.
Ben and Ally dancing.
Aunt Tiffney dancing with Link, Ben and Ally.
Tahnee and her bowl of ice cream.

Tahnee's long time friends.
More longtime friends.
I think they were having fun.

LaReina was a good sport and played/danced with Ally.
Emma & Travis
Tahnee, Max and a few friends.
Dancing with Daddy.

The car aftermath!!!

November 11

Al took swim lessons again. She did great. She is now in level 3 on her way to 4. If she would pay attention a little better she'd probably already be there. She got way bored with her teacher and he couldn't ever figure out what worked for her. Next time we do lessons, we're going to request a girl. Anyways, she's swimming on her own and now we just need to tweek her stroke.
Every swim lesson she'd ask if they could jump off the board.
Ally, Natalie and her teacher. There was 1 other girl but she stopped coming after the 2 week of lessons. It was kind of nice having a small group.

November 10

We were out doing errands and got hungry for lunch.
We stopped at Taco Bell and took it home to eat.
Well we got home and Ben was asking to take a nap ( I know awesome boy).
So I saved his lunch for him.
When he woke up from his nap he climbed up on the table and went to town with what was left of my drink and his food.

I love this face!!
He was helping me put cool whip on pudding. Obviously there was some licking of the lid (don't worry we're the only ones that are eating the cool whip).

Taking a picture of daddy.

November 9

It's always fun to ride on daddy!

November 7

When we got home from church I told Ally she needed to go change her clothes.
When she came down 30 minutes later, she was in her undies and had a hair brush stuck in her hair.
She said she wanted to brush her hair, so she was brushing 1 of her braids. Luckily daddy was there to help her get untangled.
Lucy is the best baby ever!
As well as the sweetest and most beautiful!

November 6

I will repeat what I've said before "I think this is the favorite toy". Ben and Ally still love this toy and Lucy loves to play with it now as well.

It's nice to have a sister to catch you when you fall.

Miss Lucy is doing really well sitting up. She's also rolling more and more. As well as pushing herself around with her toes. Watch out Ben!

Franklin Reception

The kids were such troopers. They danced A LOT and exhausted themselves.
They did great.
They love dancing and music.
They found 2 sisters that would dance/play with them and really enjoyed that.
Little Miss caught the bouquet.
Here she is with the bride.

November 1-4

We painted the other day and I had told Ally if she and Ben took good naps then I'd paint their faces. Obviously they took good naps.
She wanted her nose orange.
Of course what Ally wants, Ben wants the same.
Ben playing with Lucy. He was showing her how to chew on the toys.

The weather really has his cheeks chapped.
Riding the stick horse.
Lucy is the best baby. As long as she's in the same room with us, she's content to just sit and watch.
This little dude LOVES to be outside.
He LOVES this big guy here. He even says his name. How unfair for mommy! Anytime he sees him outside playing he bangs on the door and screams his name. Luckily the neighbor boy doesn't mind playing with him for a few minutes.
Ben loves carrying things up the stairs. He's carried big books like in the picture below, his lawnmower, box of cars, dolls and just about every ball we own.
I love this little girl so much. She is such a joy.
Ben going in for a kiss.
He will not accept anything other than a lip kiss.
Lucy has been getting annoyed the last few days with it.
Ben is very persistent, especially with Lucy.
Lucy will turn her head and squirm away from his face, only to have him grab her head and lock lips. I am just glad he is so lovey.

Hey sister I'm going to help you swing!
Eyeing big brother.

The door

When Ally gets mad she slams her bedroom door really hard and will sometimes do it continuously. And so her door has sat in our room for almost 3 weeks now. I was going to wait until she asked for it back, but that hasn't happened yet.

Have you ever done this?

Any guesses as to why I would have a door leaning against the wall in my bedroom?
Anyone????

November 1

The kids (mainly Ben) seem to think that the tri-pod is a camera. Ben LOVES to play with it and says "cheese" continuously while playing with it. Ally was taking pictures of her bear and Ben decided to get in on the action.
He quickly demanded that he be the one behind the camera and Ally being the nice big sister let him have a turn.

After his 20 minute turn, he was quite mad when it was Ally's turn. She was so nice about his extra long turn.
He kept screaming and then crawled underneath the rocking chair. Promptly stood up looked around and started playing, as if nothing had happened. That is until he noticed Ally with the tri-pod. Now the tri-pod is safely put back where it is kept until the next time we want a family picture.

October 31

Matt was trying to console Lucy.
Ally was dancing to her own music, while Ben was examining the fireplace.
Daddy ensuing the "Lucy position".
She has to be in the "burp position" getting "burped" while you are standing up.
If you are sitting down, forget about her calming down. You must be standing.
Ben found a pen and paper on the table.
