July birthdays

We went to Tara and Jeff's house to celebrate Matt, Tara and Josey's birthdays.

Silver Beach

Mommy was wanting to go to IKEA as well as the beach.

Daddy got to pick between the 2.

Lucky for us, he chose the beach.

The 3 big kids took small naps on the way there.  Jo wouldn't nap.

She was a trooper and didn't fall asleep till we put her in her carseat at 7:15pm and then she was out for the night.

 When we were done at the beach, we packed up for stuff and walked to the van.

While mommy and daddy packed stuff in the van, the kids ate quietly.

 Then we walked over to the awesome splash park, where we were able to rinse the sand off and have fun playing in the fun sprinklers.

 Then we took a walk out to the pier and ate some cherries, strawberries and tomatoes.

 Then we finished off our trip with some cake and ice cream at the South Bend Chocolate Factory.

The kids were OUT.  It was a pretty quiet drive home for Matt and I.

Fun summer

So we've been doing lots of fun things, inside our house.

Things mommy normally wouldn't let us do a lot of.

It's hot and humid and mommy is pregnant.  We don't leave the house much.

 Eating lots of food.

 Playing our leapsters a lot.

 Playing the kindles a lot.

Hair cuts

Ally, Lucy and mommy got our hair cut.

Ally got a lot cut off.

Lucy got her's trimmed.

Mommy got a lot cut off.

We all love our new cuts.

Turkey Run

We started off the morning with a story.

 Then we dropped the 2 little girls off with Grandma Julie.

Grandpa and Grandma Horn joined us and we drove to Turkey Run.

Matt wanted to go canoeing for his birthday.

 The kids as well as the big people, had a great time.

 If you leave Jo alone for too long, she is capable of things like this.

She had removed the keys and sensors on the laptop. 

Matt's birthday and a few silly kids

This kept Jo entertained for about 20 minutes.

 Then it kept the rest of them entertained as well.

 It's always so hard being 1 and the baby.

 Sink baths are always fun.

 Jo wanted to play in the sandbox, but it had started to rain.

 So she decided to hide her face in the sand.

 The birthday boy (he's now 32).

One afternoon, Lucy would not take a nap.  I kept sending her back to her room.

Finally she stopped coming to me and it was quiet.  I went to investigate, why it was quiet and found the silly sleeper.
