It's a snow day!! The power went out!
Yesterday afternoon we got a call saying church was cancelled for today. Ally got to play in the snow and she LOVED it.
All bundled up for the cold snow.

Ally was helping Grandpa pull her sled.
Matt was shoveling the sidewalk while Ally got to play.
Ally and Grandpa.
Ally brought a snowball inside and I put it in a bowl for her. Then I put some sno-cone syrup on it. She ate the whole thing. Do you like her hair? Remember the pigtails from last night? This is what it looks like the next morning.
Oh also, this morning at 7am the power went out. It was out until 10:30am. Luckily we had enough light coming in from the windows and a little lantern we left in the bathroom.
While everyone, except Cosette and I were outside, she played on the air mattress with her doll.
She had lots of fun on it, especially when you made her go up and down on it.

Christmas at the Zoo
Matt's parents came down and went to the zoo with us and then we went to the White River Gardens and saw the trains. It was a lot of fun, but cold. The dolphin show was great.
I LOVE the pigtails. Her hair is getting longer and a bit thicker, so I am able to do more with it.
Grams, Ally, and Cosette. Cosette is losing her sock.
Sorry about the picture Grams. It was this one or one with your eyes closed and 1/4 of Cosettes face showing.

This was a YUMMY dinner.
Last night I made a Florentine Chicken Ring. I got the recipe from one of my Pampered Chef cookbooks. Thursday night I made a pizza that was SO incredibly awesome. I also got the recipe from Pampered Chef, I was going to take a picture, but my stomach distracted me from taking a picture. It was a very pretty pizza.
Ally has been my big helper when I am making dinner, doing dishes, laundry, carrying in groceries, helping with Cosette, picking up toys, and moving furniture. I am also working on potty training her. Last night was the first time she went in the toilet. Most of the time she just sits there for 5-10 minutes and looks around and talks. She is growing soo fast.

Ally's first big scare!!
Ally was playing and fell down and hit a litle below her lip. We weren't sure if she had bit through her lip or not because she had blood coming out of her mouth and outside her mouth as well. I gave her some iubuprofen, ice cubes, and a popsicle and she was all better.
When looking at her mouth it is to the right, you can BARELY see it.

Zumba
So as you can see, I really didn't die, I'm not even sore. I had lots of fun last night. And Nicole, there were at least 3 of those women in the class last night that were doing what that lady does in your class (being a step ahead of the instructor, as to seem like the instructor is following them). My sister and I were reminded of how uncoordinated we are. We are going to keep going in hopes that it helps with our coordination.

I love the days where you get so much accomplished in a short amount of time. My sister took Ally to the rec center and they played in the tubes and then went swimming. This gave me LOTS of time (they were gone for 2 hours) to take a shower, get dressed, and clean my carpets (I've been wanting to do this for awhile and today was a great opportunity).
Tonight Matt is taking his last final for the semester and then he will be done till January. I am super excited. While Matt is taking his final I am going to try Zumba with my sister. They have a class at the rec center and I thought it'd be fun to try it. I'll let you know how it goes. I am probably going to die since the most active I have been is when I am running after Ally and vacuuming (sad, huh). Before Matt and I started dating I use to go rollerblading and running 5-6 days a week. Then we started dating more seriously and my exercise went out the window.
I am so excited, I have all of my Christmas shopping done, Christmas cards mailed out, and presents wrapped. Oh I also got presents picked up for my mom from 3 of my siblings. I love getting all of this stuff done early so I can sit back and enjoy this time of year. On ABC Family they've been showing Polar Express, what seems like every other night, and we love it. It is now one of my favorite Christmas movies.

Trying to get a good family picture.
It's harder than it may seem.
If Ally was cooperating with us and looking at the camera, then Cosette was looking the other way. If Cosette was looking at the camera, then Ally was trying to get the camera or just run away.
Okay, I have LOTS of random pictures from the last 5 days. Enjoy!
When I have Cosette sitting in her high chair, she can pull herself forward, even though she is leaning back in her high chair. She is getting soo strong. She does really well when we stand her up.
When it gets cold outside, kids start to get creative. Ally loves boxes. She has been making a fort out of her diaper box for the last few days. Today she took a book in there and just sat down and started reading.
She really was having fun, she just didn't want company in her box, or her mom taking pictures.

More random pictures
I thought Ally looked cute in her towel, after her bath. I love the look on her face.
I was taking pictures of Cosette and Ally wanted her picture taken too.
With Ally being sick and not suppose to have any dairy, I picked up an Icee for us to share. Ally and I love to eat ice, sno-cones, icee's, and anything cold involving frozen liquid.

Random pictures in front of the Christmas tree

We were trying to get a good picture of the girls together for our Christmas card.

Santa
Ally wanted nothing to do with Santa. I'm sure part of the reason was because she wasn't feeling good. Cosette looks like she really doesn't feel good. Poor girls, their mean mommy dragged them out of the house to see Santa.
Ally wouldn't let me leave her side. She was crying until I put the pacifier in her mouth. I'm telling you, as soon as they get better, pacifiers are going to start disappearing around our house.
Cosette is such a good sport.

I ended up taking Ally into the pediatrician this morning because she threw up again. Yesterday Cosette threw up 4 times and 2 of those times were in Walmart. I ended up leaving my cart and running for the door. I guess the girls just have the nasty flu that is going around. Hopefully it leaves our house very soon. I am soo over cleaning up throw up and washing LOADS and LOADS of laundry everyday. Since Cosette got sick in her carseat, I had to wash that yesterday and those baby carseats are a huge pain to put back together. I was almost at the point of just buying another one. Luckily, I dug a little deeper and found some more patience and got it figured out.

This morning when we woke up I showed Ally it snowed.
I actually knew it had already snowed because at 2:30 this morning I was lucky enough to drive to Walgreens, in the snow, and get some pedialyte and gatorade for Ally. She ended up throwing up 7 times in 3 hours. By 2a.m. I really wasn't sure what I should do, so I called and talked to the pharmacist at Walgreens and she said I should call the e.r. and talk to someone there. So I called and talked to a nurse and she said I needed to get something other other than water in Ally. Also, she was to sip her drink, not guzzle it like she normally does. So I got out a bottle and put a newborn nipple on it and it helped her sip it. She seems to be feeling a whole lot better and back to her mischevious self. Lets just say we had a LONG night. I eventually got to bed around 3:30a.m. and Matt was in bed by 4a.m. He decided while he was up, he'd work on homework. Then we were up at 9a.m. because we let Ally sleep in our bed with us.
Cosette was a PERFECT little sleeper last night (she usually is, but last night Ally screamed a lot and made lots of noise). I layed her down at 10p.m. and she slept until 9:15 this morning. I was so glad she slept through the night because I don't think I could have made it through the night in one piece.
I tried to put clothes on her during the night and she didn't want them on, so I let her go around in a diaper.

This morning Ally got into Cosette's dresser and brought out a pair of her pants and wanted them on. So I thought, I'll just pull them up as far as they will go on you. Well, they fit her. It was a 6-12 month, I was very surprised. How nice would it be if they were in the same size this summer.

Still Sick!!

Yep, we still have sick ones at our house. I am up right now because Ally threw up ALL over herself, her bed, and as I was typing this, she got me too. And then she got me again. So now that we've taken 2 showers I am trying to figure out whether or not to put her back in her bed. Do I really want to have to clean up her crib (well Matt will be the one cleaning it up, I can't handle cleaning it up) so do I want to have to have Matt clean it up, again? I think I am going to camp out on the living room floor with her and just hope it's over.

Sunday Dress
I am soo excited it is finally December. The girls have some really cute Christmas dresses and I am so excited about them wearing them. This dress and shoes that Ally has on she got from a friend of mine. Cosette's outfit was a hand-me down from Ally that I had bought for her. Next week will be a whole new dress.

I love the shoes!
We had just woke the girls up from their nap and had 10 minutes before church started. So we quickly got them dressed and had to get in a picture before leaving.
And she found her thumb, again.

I had to work really hard to get the thumb out of her mouth and was so glad she smiled.
Sweet Cosette
I think this outfit is just adorable, thanks Nicole.
She has found her thumb and loves it. Sometimes I wake up during the night and hear her slurping on her thumb, it's kind of cute.
