Cosette's flower garden

This big, fun flower here, has gotten too big for itself and keeps falling over, so I have to keep standing it back up and fixing the stack that is suppose to be helping it.

It's always fun to sing at the top of your lungs while standing on your brothers bed in your underwear.

So I didn't get pictures of all of us in blue/white, but I did get a few pictures of Lucy in the duck dress.

Lucy had gotten Ally a bug catcher kit and she loves it.

Lucy

Is a great baby. She sleeps just as beautifully as the other 3 kids have. I'm so grateful that my babies have all been great sleepers. She is a great eater, except for when she bites down at the beginning and end of feedings! Lucy has taken to tummy time like a pro. All of the kids have enjoyed tummy time so much that they just fall asleep. Ben loves to help burp her. When he sees me burping her he will come running to me and start smacking her on the back. So far Lucy doesn't seem to mind, except for when Ben gets bored with burping and decides to see if her eyes are still in tact. I think he's only poked her once in the eye, so far. Today he was giving her all sorts of kisses and couldn't get enough of her. He wants nothing to do with holding her and for that I'm thankful. Ally loves holding her, but not for very long. She always wants to change her diaper, but not the #2 ones. She tells me several times a day that she loves Lucy so much. Then we talk about how we all love her so much. She is such a sweet baby!

Funny story- I think it was the night before I had Lucy, we were talking to the kids about the does and don'ts with the baby. We told them that Lucy can only have mommy's milk and not their food. Ally then asked "which one is chocolate" as she pointed at my chest! Then we had to explain that neither are chocolate and Lucia can't have chocolate milk yet. Silly girl!

Hot summer day

But, it's not even summer yet, according to the calendar.

This week has been pretty hot and humid, so the kids got to play in the pool and had lots of fun.

We've really been enjoying having Matt home with us this week. It's going to be hard on ALL of us when he has to go back to work. He's been a regular handyman this week, doing lots of jobs around the house. Last week, Matt and his dad sanded down the bottoms of 2 of our doors (the carpet was too tall/thick so they wouldn't shut and were hard to close) so they close fabulously now. Matt's taken out a ceiling fan (Jon you can thank us the next time you're here!) and put in one that is flush with the ceiling. He replaced something in one of the toilets. He put down top soil, then put down grass seed. Right now he's working on someones birthday present with his dad. He got to go to lunch bunch with us on Thursday, that might be the only time we go this summer, seeing as how Ben is quite active and wants to be involved in everything. He's temorarily fixed our pantry door. I know he's done other things, but right now they just aren't coming to mind. We're going to miss you next week babe!

Everything is always more fun with a buddy. Ally and Ben have been getting along great lately and play so well together.

Involved brother

This is Ben, whenever Lucy is in the pack n play. He wants to keep an eye on her and shake her bed as much as he can. I think he likes to watch her startled reaction every time he moves the bed.

Lucy's first bath

I guess you can tell that this is #4 when I say that it took me a whole week to give her a bath. I didn't think she smelled, but Matt did. And yes, the cord is still in and she had a bath. The pediatrician said not to worry about not getting it wet.

Ally had fun giving her a bath for the second time (remember the first was at the hospital).

She did pretty well at the beginning and was screaming by the end.
This is what Ben did while Lucy got a bath. We had to keep him out of the bathroom, so Matt gated him out.
