Christmas Day !!!!
The pictures aren't in order, but we started our day with Christmas at Matt's parents house and ended it with Christmas at my mom's house. We are so grateful for our family and the time we get to spend with them. On our drive between houses on Christmas, Matt and I got talking about why people only remember the Savior at Christmas and sometimes Easter. Why not remember Him everyday? Daily we are given blessings and most of the time we just continue to go about our daily routines. I am going to try to keep the whole spirit and reason we celebrate Christmas with me this next year. I think that will be my New Years resolution. According to Matt, if you don't write down your resolution, you aren't going to keep it. So I just wrote it down. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
Is there a problem when your 18 month old LOVES Hannah Montana? Ally loves to watch the show and listen to her music.
Grandma Julie got Ally a doll and made her some blankets and pillows for her doll.
Matt and I decided we'd do presents at our house, the day after Christmas. We woke the girls up at 6:15am because Matt had to leave for work early that morning. Ally was SUPER cranky.

Christmas Eve
Every year we go to Matt's grandparents house on the night of Christmas Eve. We eat dinner, open presents, watch A Christmas Story, and eat LOTS of dessert.
Ally got a super cute sweater from one of her great grandmas.
Cosette wanted to help open presents once she saw they had bows and funny dangly things on them.

All dressed for church.
Matt's mom made the girls snowman jumpers and she made Matt a tie and me a skirt that matched.
Sunday was Ally's first day in nursery. She lasted the whole time all by herself (this has been really hard for me to accept). I am really not ready to see her be so independent. It'd be nice to know that she missed me, but I doubt that she did. I was able to curl her little pigtails. At first she reminded me of Cindy Loo from the Grinch.

Okay, so I haven't updated for a while. I got my hair cut last week. It is soo nice not finding LONG strands of hair in Ally's hands or having it fall into Cosette's face and wake her up, as I am laying her down for a nap. The last time I had my hair cut was in March of 2006. For some reason I kept thinking it'd been longer than that since my last hair cut.

Ally is learning and feeling what it's like to be a big girl.
I bought her some princess underwear and the plastic covers that go over cloth diapers. She LOVES the way she can move around more with underwear on. She's gone on the potty a few times now.
Here she is with ALL of her plastic covers on her leg.
Matt was getting ready for work the other morning and heard Cosette rustling around and looked over and this is what he saw. She's soo cute!

Playing in the crib
When I went in to get Ally up from her nap, she was holding her nose and telling me she was stinky.

Playing with the sled, in the house.

Sorry this is so dark.

It's a snow day!! The power went out!
Yesterday afternoon we got a call saying church was cancelled for today. Ally got to play in the snow and she LOVED it.
All bundled up for the cold snow.

Ally was helping Grandpa pull her sled.
Matt was shoveling the sidewalk while Ally got to play.
Ally and Grandpa.
Ally brought a snowball inside and I put it in a bowl for her. Then I put some sno-cone syrup on it. She ate the whole thing. Do you like her hair? Remember the pigtails from last night? This is what it looks like the next morning.
Oh also, this morning at 7am the power went out. It was out until 10:30am. Luckily we had enough light coming in from the windows and a little lantern we left in the bathroom.
While everyone, except Cosette and I were outside, she played on the air mattress with her doll.
She had lots of fun on it, especially when you made her go up and down on it.
