Tired baby

Matt and I were researching condos in Florida and Brigham woke up, so we sat him between us and he fell asleep.

Activity girl

Ally loves going to activity girls. 

They made pillows for a local shelter or something and used t-shirts.  Ally put a scrap of t-shirt to use and turned it into a scarf for herself.

Brigster is starting to pull himself up to things. If it is low enough he will pull himself up to it and then climb over it.

 Jo wants to blink her eyes whenever I am trying to take her picture.

 Brigham thought it'd be fun to attack my face.

 Then Josey's face.

This is what happens

Jo has been taking naps here and there and today she didn't take a nap at nap time and instead waited until we were picking up the big kids from school.

Josey was the only 1 that wanted her picture taken after church.

She and her bed had an altercation the night before, if you notice the red mark under her left eye.

 She was singing "let it go".

Silver Beach

The kids have been asking for most of the summer if we would take them to the beach.

When they are parents they will understand that it isn't so easy to just take 5 kids to the beach.

We checked the weather and water temp and our Saturday was open, so we surprised the kids and took them up there.  They had a blast.  There were warm spots in the water and the kids didn't mind that the water was still kinda chilly.

 Brigsters first experience with sand.

 He held it in his hand for a short bit.

 Then shoved it in his mouth. He was not impressed.

 I think he preferred to sit in the stroller and eat his snacks and watch the kids play in the sand.

 Little Miss is growing up too fast.

 After we packed up all our stuff on the beach, we went for a walk on the pier.  I looked at Lucy and told her she could take a nap, she willingly went to sleep.

 Josey was also more than compliant with taking a nap.

 This boat was HUMONGOUS.  This picture doesn't do it justice.

It was massively huge.  It would be an awesome ride, I'm sure.

 We then went to the fountains and rinsed all the sand off.

The air temp was only 82, so the water still felt a bit chilly.

 We changed our clothes and walked up to the South Bend Chocolate factory for this yummy treat.

Matt got lots of looks as he was carrying it to our table, but then people realized he wasn't going to be eating it alone.

 It was super yummy.
