Last week I had a conference for work in Las Vegas. It was the first time being away from my family for more than 24 hours, since Cosette passed away and that was the first time we had spent more than 24 hours apart.
I spent 3 nights in Las Vegas. It was fun, but I would never take my kids there. There were lots of things to do, nice restaurants, cool things to see and the sights were a lot to take in. On the other hand, there is a reason they call it sin city. There was so much awful stuff going on. It was a weird experience to see that many people addicted to worldly things.

Overall it was fun, Tashina and I might visit sometime. The keyword being "might", I'm still not sure what to think.

Think Matt, you could have been like Phil and had to serve your mission there. For obvious reasons they aren't allowed around there but he did serve on the old strip not too far from there.
oh vegas. Been there twice and I hope I never go back. I just can't get past all the pornography that is everywhere. Awful.
It IS a cheap city to fly into then you can drive to beautiful places like Zion and Bryce Nat'l Park.
